Staging areas and content modules
The process to stage a room for workshop is time consuming inside the VR-environment.
I would rather have a staging area in my desktop client where I could insert and stage the wall, roof, roomspace before I enter VR with my team. The room space could for exemple be split-up in cubes where I could decide what is to be shown in each individual cube. I would also like så be able to group cubes together and thereby create av larger volumespace in which I could choose to display content in accordance with my need.
If the stageing function allows me to prepare and handle "content modules" where a module can consist of many different information objects but organized in accordance with my need, then I can re-use module set-ups for what should be displayed in each "volumecube".
This would come in handy for example when I need to perform the same serie of workshop, based on the same input information (objects) with several different groups of people.
It would also allow me to change the content of whole wall segmens and swap in some complementory information following the need of a the currently ongoing discussion, like in the military tactical room where I put up and take down different maps depending on the campain in question.
