How to Add/Connect Your Account to Spatial:
- In the Spatial web app, app.Spatial.io, go to the menu in the upper left corner
- Click on "Integrations"
- Connect the appropriate account for any or all of our available integrations
To access your content from these integrations on a device, click these icons in your Content menu:
If you do not complete the integration connection on the web app you will be instructed to do so in your headset.
How To Utilize Integrations:
We support integrating with both OneDrive and SharePoint (both products under the Microsoft 365 family) but we display a single icon in headset that will display the most recent files across both accounts.
Connecting an account:
Visit spatial.io/integrations and connect to Microsoft 365.
Note: Although OneDrive is available for all Microsoft accounts, SharePoint is only available for Microsoft Work or School accounts. Therefore, when connecting, you'll see a different list of permissions depending on whether you connect with a Personal account or a Work/School account.
Files with the following extensions can be uploaded from Microsoft 365:
Documents: .docx, .pptx, .xlsx, .pdf
Models: .glb, .gltf, .fbx
Images: .png, .jpeg
After selecting the Microsoft 365 icon in-app, your 100 most recently modified OneDrive or SharePoint files (of the above types) will be loaded. These files include both those owned by the user and those shared to the user.
The Google Drive content you see in Spatial is listed in order of most recently opened via Drive. Only supported file types can be pulled in via this integration.
If you are interested in an integration that we currently do not offer please reach out to our team at email@example.com.
