Spatial's UI Re-Design

We have implemented minimalistic in space UI elements to allow for creators to truly own the screen.

Creators can now take control of what UI elements they want on screen with the Spatial Creator Toolkit.

  • We have a brand new Quick Actions Bar at the top right 

  • Press the 3-dot button or 'esc' at any time to bring up the Space Menu where you'll find more actions and information about the space

  • If you have edit permissions in a space, you'll see the "Add Content" button in the Quick Actions Bar

  • The list of players is now in a menu that can be toggled with the hotkey  ` . Screen Recording 2023-09-13 at 8.59.57 AM.gif

  • You can access emotes from the Space Menu or with the Hotkey 'T'

  • You'll find filming tools in the Space Menu or with the hotkey 'O'

  • You can unmute the mic from the Space Menu or with the hotkey 'M' When unmuted you'll see a mic icon appear in the Quick Actions Bar

  • You can love, edit, and share a space from the Space Menu

Some other "Pro Tips"

  • Press 'H' to hide all UI
  • Press '/' to quickly type a chat message
